At Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, you will experience a sacred, ancient atmosphere closely connected to the Dinh and Le dynasties, before continuing to Tam Coc – often referred to as “Halong Bay on land”- with its majestic limestone mountains and winding river.

    The trip offers a gentle and relaxing pace, highlighted by a peaceful boat ride through caves and lush green rice fields. The fresh air, poetic scenery, and tranquil nature allow you to fully unwind and enjoy a day that perfectly combines exploration and relaxation.

    Pick-up
    The bus and tour guide will pick up guests in Hanoi Old Quarter and depart for Ninh Binh.
    On the way, the bus will stop at a rest stop for breakfast (at guests’ own expense).
    Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
    Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital – the former capital of Dai Co Viet. Here, you will admire the majestic scenery and learn about the nation's heroic history during the reign of the 10th-century kings.
    After listening to the tour guide's introduction to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, you will visit two historical sites: the Temple of King Dinh and the Temple of King Le, both built in the 17th century and featuring exquisite wood and stone carvings.
    Lunch with local specialties
    Guests will transfer to a restaurant to relax and enjoy a buffet lunch featuring many Ninh Binh specialties such as mountain goat meat, crispy rice (com chay), and more.
    Boat trip in Tam Coc
    Visitors will board a boat to explore Tam Coc. “Tam Coc” means “three caves,” consisting of Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. The journey through Tam Coc follows a single water route in and out, taking approximately two hours.
    The boat will take you through a system of water caves, including Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. During the trip, you will enjoy the fresh, cool countryside. As you go deeper into the caves, stalactites hanging from the ceiling sparkle like magical blocks of jade, creating a truly stunning natural landscape.
    Return to Hanoi
    Guests will board the bus and return to Hanoi, bidding farewell to the beautiful land of Ninh Binh.
    Arrival in Hanoi
    The bus arrives back in Hanoi. The tour guide and driver bid farewell to the group, marking the end of the 1-day sightseeing tour.
