    ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
    Tam Dao is an ideal retreat with four seasons in a day: spring in the morning, summer at noon, autumn in the afternoon, and winter at night. Often called a "sea of clouds," the mountains here are frequently blanketed in white mist.
    Here's how we've prepared your special trip.
    Discover Tam Dao – the “Town in the Mist,” often compared to Sapa for its cool climate and year-round fog, just a short distance from Hanoi. Experience four seasons in a single day. Stone churches and colonial villas remain relics from when the French chose this place as a hill station retreat.
    Today’s Special Experience
    Guest Pickup
    The vehicle and tour guide will pick up the group at the designated meeting point in the Old Quarter or the Opera House, then depart for the Tam Dao sightseeing tour.
    Depart
    The group departs for Tam Dao. Guests will have breakfast on their own along the way.
    Tay Thien – Spiritual Retreat Site
    Arrive at the Tay Thien Scenic Area. Guests will walk to the Great Mandala Stupa, which is designed in the Indian architectural style. Visit Thong Temple, home to a sacred banyan tree with nine roots.
    After that, guests can choose one of the following two options:
    ✔ Option 1: Take a walk to Truc Lam Zen Monastery, one of the spiritual schools for Buddhist monks and nuns in Vietnam. Explore the Drum Tower, Bell Tower, and classrooms. Upon reaching the highest level of the monastery, guests can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view, like looking down from heaven to earth, a rare and unforgettable scene.
    ✔ Option 2: Conquer the peak of Tay Thien Mountain. Guests will take a cable car ride to admire the majestic mountain landscapes and view the Silver Waterfall from the cabin. Upon reaching the upper station, continue the ascent on foot to explore several sacred sites including: Temple of Lady Co Chin, Temple of the Earth Mother, Upper Temple of the National Mother, Ancestor Worship House, a Zen Master's Shrine, Tay Thien Pagoda, and finally, the legendary Fairy Chessboard at the mountain summit, among many other spiritual landmarks. (Cable car ticket not included in the tour price.)
    Lunch
    Have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, guests will continue the journey by bus to Tam Dao.
    Visit Tam Dao town
    Upon arrival in Tam Dao, guests will explore and take photos of the beautiful scenery around the town, including the Tam Dao Central Square and the colourful streets featuring unique architectural styles. A highlight of the visit is the Tam Dao Stone Church, known for its distinctive architecture. Built between 1906 and 1912, the church is located in the centre of Tam Dao town, along the road leading to the summit of Mount Thien.
    Visit Bac Waterfall & Quan Gio
    The tour guide will lead guests on a walking tour to visit:
    ✔ Tam Dao Bac Waterfall : The path to Silver Waterfall is not too long, but steep and rugged. Visitors must descend stone steps paved with green slate to reach the falls. The trail is carved into the mountain, with one side hugging the cliff and the other overlooking a deep valley.
    ✔ Quan Gio Tam Dao: A famous local café where guests can enjoy a hot cup of coffee (at their own expense) while taking in the majestic and poetic landscape of Tam Dao.
    Get on the bus back to Hanoi
    Guests will gather and board the bus back to Hanoi. There will be a short rest stop along the way.
    18:00: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the tour.
